Let's Talk Natural Deodrants

Did you know that most high street deodorants and antiperspirants contain aluminum? Aluminum compounds work by blocking sweat glands, essentially preventing sweating. I don’t know about you, but I’m all for keeping things natural. The idea of suppressing sweat, a natural process for our bodies, raises a few alarms for me.

There’s been some debate about whether aluminum could be absorbed through the skin and contribute to conditions like breast cancer. However, scientific studies don’t support that claim. Still, I prefer to play it safe with natural alternatives. Sweating is a natural function, and rather than blocking those pores, natural deodorants help manage odor while supporting your body’s natural processes.

So, we've been testing a few local, natural deodorants and finally found a formula we love! It’s gentle on the skin and keeps you fresh all day long. Here’s what we’ve got for you:

Lavender & Bergamot
A more sensitive option with no bicarbonate, perfect if you have sensitive skin like me.

Peppermint & Tea-tree
This one contains bicarbonate for those who need something stronger and longer-lasting. Ideal for active folks or anyone who tends to sweat more.

We hope you love these as much as we do! Let us know which one you choose, and stay fresh, naturally.
